An early Jake/Worthington. Jacobsen acquired the Standard Manufacturing Company in 1948 to obtain the rotary mower design seen in the Jake being sold in this auction. Manufacturing had been moved from Standard to the Worthington plant in PA that Jacobsen had acquired in 1945. So this is no doubt a very early example of Jacobsen's rotary mowers. According to what I found on the Hit and Miss site, it is an 18" rotary disc built in 1954.
