Got this for free yesterday. Seems in decent shape. From the Toro site, looks to be a 1993. It's missing the "helicopter" type extra blade I see in the parts schematic. Was that a model specific item or did they all come with it? The front is missing the paint, no damage, looks to be powder coating that simply is peeling off in sheets. If I get it running will refurb it. I read Grabber Green is a close paint match. Assuming I need to remove all the old coating first. Can you sand these decks or is there a better process (chemical or media blasting)? Do they take a specific primer for what I am assuming is aluminum? Will this side discharge or are they only mulch or bag? It came with a bag and cowling. From what I've read it has some typical LB issues of this age. Broken pull handle and bent safety bail. Have not tried to start, but has serious compression and sparks.
