Bought it to replace my aging Craftsman, thought the rear drive would be better than the front drive on my hills. First year it ran ok, at 7.5 hp i thought it would cut better than my 6.5 Craftsman - WRONG!! It wouldn't cut it way out of a paper bag if the grass is even remotely high or damp. I run my mowers year round, the most they go is a couple weeks in the winter as i use them for leaves too. Starting about january the thing just won't stay running, cleaned the carb it runs ok for a couple weeks and back to issues i got so disgusted with it that i got my 1993 model craftsman back out, bought new wheels, blade, filter..etc and i'm back to using it. Wasted my $300 on the Toro, i'll never buy another Toro, their "guaranteed to start" warranty is a joke. No help from the Toro folks and the local people just want to throw parts at it at my expense.
I'm very picky about my equipment, oil changes every year. Never let the fuel get old, clean them fairly often - i keep my stuff for decades.
