It served its intended purpose and it eliminated the mess and hassle normally associated with tipping and drain plugs which are almost inaccessible. I will say that it can seem slow to do its job but I may have erred on the side of caution by extracting oil that wasn't warm enough. With that said, I am willing to wait a bit longer in return for a less messy oil change.

Note: On my unit, the small diameter tube that is inserted into the dipstick tube is longer than the one in the video. Mine is about 3 feet long.
