In tank fuel filler sieve?

I have a 6000W standby generator (not a Honda) that has a very fine nylon mesh cup shaped fuel strainer under the gas tank fill cap. It caches any debris that would be in the gas can before it gets to the real fuel filter.

If I haven't explained myself well, the type of filter I'm talking about would be item #2 on this generator gas tank parts diagram:

I'd really like to have something like this for my HRX217HYA. But the above strainer is too large for my Honda. I've already Googled trying to find an accessory specifically for my Honda, but I came up with no results.

Anyone know of where I could get a fuel filler strainer that would fit a HRX217HYA?
