Was searching CL as normal and found a nice looking possibility!
Riding Lawn Mower
Emailed and got a call on Friday. Made appointment to see it this morning. VERY CLEAN underneath!! Looks like it was never wet and was stored inside its whole life! Mowed a very small lot. Was told it was parked when owner passed and house was vacant for over three years. New owners wanted it gone. Got it for $124 ( Did not have a five!! ) Got it home and thought the fuel line was reason for leak and changed it. Tried to fire and no crank, solenoid is acting weird. Jumped the starter with jump box and when gas hit carb, fired right up with cloud of dust from muffler and fan! Was unsteady running at first ,slowly cleared up. Made video of it a few seconds after getting it to run off choke!
Every thing seems good until I smell fuel! Turns out the tank leaks at seam, when going on hill it leaked on the footrest. Thank God we have a spare tank meant for it in spares!! :)
