So my Yardman is giving me fits this year. It's always had a little trouble starting but usually after a few cranks would fire right up. I blew a head gasket a few weeks ago and after replacing that thought I'd be good to go. Ran great, so I reattached the deck. Won't start. Unhooked the deck, started right up and ran great. So I discovered that I was missing one of the deck brakes and the other was worn down, so I replaced them. Still a no go. Battery is good and it runs great without the deck, what am I missing here? Nothing seems to be binding but I think it's trying to start the deck at the same time as the mower and it's just too much to crank. :help:
