Which style is superior...

I have read a number of reviews talking about the new style of roto-stop having some issues that require a fix. I am also wondering about the new select drive compared to the hydrostatic cruise control transmission.

I am basically wondering, from the standpoint of longevity, worry free usage, and ergonomics, which is better? Basically VYA or HYA model in the HRX line?
