Jacobsen 1951 Park 30

Ok, here goes another project. I just picked up this 1951 Park 30 by Jacobsen and I'm determined to get her running. Engine is a Wisconsin ABN.
Looked for the things that Austen pointed out from the first thread where I knew very little about the Jakes such as clutches and certain missing parts.

Some of the first issues are the broken handle bars at the base so that will be a welding project. I may need some close up pictures of a functional one to duplicate the original.
I spent @ 1/2 hr on the clutches and got them all freed up. Oil is over filled but engine turns freely. WICO mag box is nice and clean but still needs to be checked for a spark and I will need to put a new end on the lead. Carb is gunked and will need a kit and the base gasket has a huge chunk missing so I'll need to make one to see if I can get her going but will still replace them to get it right.

One issue I will need to figure out is the casters appear to be correct in style but the shaft appears to be to long and there are spacers in place;

Austen, I believe the same guy that worked on your economy worked on the spindle.. nailed it, Eh? ;)

Missing parts would be a chain cover, and the correct cables for throttle, shifting and reel engagement. Someone made solid engagement rods for the reel and the engine clutch but I would rather have the correct parts if possible.
Be patient as this will not be a rapid fire project ;) Slow and steady. :2th:
