I return.. with a problem.

Well, I'm back after two years now! Well, to cut to the chase, I have a Lawn Boy 8243AE (Think thats right..) I saved it from a local scrapyard last month along with some others. I'm a big Kohler K series person.. so LB's are new to me.. but simple. Anyway. This mower is a PAIN to start.. But it runs great once it gets going. No weeping at the seals. I find, sometimes if I start to load the mower a little, it will slow to a low putter, smoke, and stall usually.. not restarting anytime soon. It'll run fine, shut it off, wont start no matter what.. will pop though. I cleaned the muffler and ports, has 125PSI of compression.. think its the coil, but have no idea what else it may be. I have a Toro with a 'Zuki, (Project... stupid coil problems!) ANOTHER Toro with a smokey TNT100.. A Buttercup that has the timing off even when set right.. yet the worst, UGLIEST looking 'School Bus' mower that runs absolutely flawless! (Half a pull every time!)
When working the LB, it would run okay, if I pushed it. Engage the self propel, it'd bog out on slight grades. Like the choke was on almost. Anyone have any ideas? I'd like to get it going.. and soon. This has the Walboro carb.

Thanks,
Stepney.

(EDIT! When the putter started, it usually gave no warning. But I learnt when it would do it. I could pull the throttle to idle, and sometimes it would clear out and run fine again.. then stall soon after.)
