Hey guys. The nice couple who bought the JD STX from me had this trade in. They said it made noise and white smoke. Then dead? They had friend look at it and he said it was goner! We delivered theirs and took it home.

Dad only found too much oil( no gas smell ) and changed it. It runs/mows like a dream?? !! :dunno:
I mowed with it and ran it around. It died on the old guy on steep hill side. Guess it ate a glob of oil and stalled out?? We plan on running it a bit to make sure. Nicest MTD we ever had! A lot of issues we disliked are changed, like the large spring on deck into a PTO now!
I buffed and detailed it Sunday too!
