Hi, I'm new to the site. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. I am looking at purchasing a lawn tractor but I'm not sure what kind to get? I have about 1/3 of an acre to cut. I've narrowed my search down to Husqvarna, John Deere, Ariens, and Craftsman. I've heard Ariens and Crafstman is made by Husqvarna so they are lower on my list. I'm considering John Deere but I've heard bad things about their transmission, also they are too light and are a rough ride and that your just paying for the name. I'm also trying to figure out if I need a one cylinder or go for the twin? I plan on using it for hauling a lawn tractor trailer and other accessories. I also have a trail to a river with some inclines, so I think the twin would be better for the extra power. Am I on the right track? Please any info would be great.:2th:
