How do I get the hood back on!?!!?

I have a STX-38 with the yellow deck. Last summer I took the hood off to replace the throttle plate and do some other maintenance. I can not get the hood back on. I have tried to put it on and it falls down causing the engine to smoke. So I've been running it without the hood. Tractor runs great :ThumbUp: but is so ugly. Any advice?
