I own a newer Toro (6.75 hp) with one speed -- full throttle. Is there any way a guy can swap parts in to create an adjustable throttle (with add-on cable control & handle) to drop the RPM's a bit. Seems to me we waste a lot of gas mowing average-height grass, not to mention shortening the engine life. I'm relatively new to this forum, so maybe this discussion has been done before, but couldn't find anything with a quick search of archives. Thanks for your input.
