While I have been very happy with the cut I get from Gator Blades, the durability of the cutting edge is impressive.
I have three clean out covers that have 1/4" steel rod handles. The handles have been flattened so I can mow over the covers. Well one day, I hit the corner of one cover and it raised the opposite side of the cover. After scaring the ...... out of me from the noise that was coming from the deck, I stopped the tractor to look for damage. I found that a blade had sheared off the handle, but there wasn't any damage to the blades. I removed the blades because I was sure that there would be nicks in the cutting edge, but there were none. These blades are very durable!!:2th:
