I'm doing a full breakdown and restore on this old Snapper Comet I've got. I've got everything blasted and painted. Now I'm reassembling using the old diagrams as reference to putting it together. However, I'm seeing some small parts on the diagram that I didn't have when I took the case apart. I wanted to check here to see if I do need them. It would be the LH side chain case according to the 2650 model owner's manual it shows #75 as 1-1086 Nylon Thrust washer on both sides of the shaft it's the Rear Wheels, Transmission diagram. Well I bought those new nylon thrust washers eventhough it didn't have any when I took the case apart. Well when I installed them and tried to put the case back together the washers were so thick the case wouldn't tighten up. So when I removed them it went together fine. I do remember not having those thrust washers on there when I originally took it apart. Could some models use them and some not?
