We got home from gym and decided to finish plowing snow blowing before rain storm tomorrow. Dad hopped on the Newer Craftsman tractor and started blowing while I struggled to fire the ornery SS10 . Well a few minutes later he came around, by then I had mine running and plowing. He found a rock with the single stage and bent drum and broke chain! ARGH!! :dunno: I did it once myself, sucked! Well I told him to get on mine and I thought to try the ST-12 Tractor blower. It was put away by me as I thought it was worthless for snow removal. After a few seconds cranking it fired easily! Went to blow a little after freeing it from frozen ground, it died. Turns out I have a dirty carb as I found by mistake when I left choke on and it had power to spare now!!:sidelaugh
It does not blow very far, but blows better than a broken tractor!
Even with no chains, if I used low range, it works fine!! Thank God for the two machines!! Saved my bacon from the shovel!!
