Just joined this forum.
I have an old Commercial Toro 2-stroke walk behind lawnmower that needed repairs. I had some issues with the transmission that I repaired and also I must have introduced some bad gas to my machine; got water in the gas tank and carb causing a lot of trouble. Pretty much ruined my carb.
I had found on one of the forums that someone had replaced their carb with one from a Honda, brand new they cost about $15.
What a difference that has made!
Just wanted to share that with this forum.
I bought my carb from Boats.Net;
part number;16100-Z0Y-013 CARBURETOR (BB62J B) (Honda Code 7979511)
Very slight modification to mounting bolt holes and plastic linkage to choke, otherwise perfect fit.
