I resurrected this mower from the dead. Meticulously cleaned the carb, new larger jet (surging problem remedy) and nearly everything outside of popping the head addressed, adjusted or replaced. Now it runs really great. Never misses a beat except when I try to restart it. It will start on the second pull any day of the week if it is cold and run through a whole tank flawlessly. But on a warm restart I destroy myself by pulling and pulling without the engine firing at all. What gives? Do any of you have trouble restarting your LB 2Ts? Do you have to put the throttle in choke position or press the prime bulb when warm? Or does each little two stroke engine have its own personality and forces you to find that right combination (I've experienced this before).
