WHAT liquid is streaming outa my ?carb

Greetings.
Heyulpp!

Ok, that's it for hysterics.
I put some gas in the LT166, overcame the dead battery, and let it run awhile. Came back out and noticed a stream of fluid running steadily from a small hose up front.

Didn't SMELL like gas---but you are hearing this from the fellow who can't smell skunk.

I can post a pic, but the little hose appears to be attached to what I think is the carburetor. Bigger and smaller hoses on left side as you look at it, behind the air filter?

I don't see anywhere obvious that the hose should be plugged into. It's sticking out on the left of the air filter and shooting liquid forward/right.

Is this normal in any way? Engine kept running. Tank level did appear to be going down.
Is something condensing the humidity with incredible efficiency and spitting it out?

TIA
