Good morning!!! I am working on a troy built 11a-a26m6. It has the briggs and Stratton auto choke....not my favorite feature, lol. The issue it was having was not starting sometimes and would run bad when it would start. I clean the carb and starts first pull every time, but the idle is not stable. If I pull back on the choke, or hold the throttle in place, it stabilizes. I cleaned the carb again, with no difference. I have another model that runs great. I swapped carbs and it still didn't fix it. I swapped the springs and the thermostat with no luck. I adjusted the lever on the thermostat an it helped a bit. The air intake looks fine, but I will remove it today and see if its cracked underneath. Any other ideas? Thanks!!!
