Hello all,
While looking for information on my, as yet to be deliver, new lawn tractor - Husqvarna YTH22V46, I stumbled upon this forum. As the title indicates, I am new not only to this forum but also to riding mowers in general. Not entrely true...I was "gifted" a Murray riding mower, with rear 10 HP engine, 20 years ago. It was great the first time I used it because it meant I didn't have to push mow. It was not so great the next day when the back pain appeared. Needless to say, I went back to push mowing the next time my lawn needed mowing.
I have gone through several push gas mowers over the years and have to say that I have been general pleased with what you can purchase for $300/$400. My last purchase, prior to the new YTH22V46, was a Husqvarna four wheel drive push mower. I still have it and I still love it but it is still a chore pushing my almost 2 acres. Hence the new rider.
At any rate, I am happy to be here and I look forward to reading, learning and participating.
Thanks,
Rob
