UK calling

Hi,
I have just discovered this Forum and am hoping it will help me solve a problem with my Honda mower. The official Honda UK site seems pretty unhelpful and just refers me to local dealerships where I would have to spend a lot of money I am confident of undertaking myself. Looking to friends everywhere for help and guidance.
