Thinking of buying JD D130. I would like the electric PTO for the blade engagement, but don't want to think about issues later if any parts break or go bad with the electric blade engagement.
My issues, personal, very bad health.
Bad back and pancreas disease, so I want low vibration and a good back support, low maintenance, and no breakdowns. Good power to pull extra items, like a small drag for small tree limbs. and a leaf hopper that picks up leaves in the fall, We have many huge trees here in the countryside in Oregon. I have an acre, but want to be able to mow up to 2 or more so I can help with shared land. Mostly flat but some slopes less then 10 degrees, for only short sections a few feet.
I had an old Ariens that wore out, got it used.
I have plenty of time to cut grass so I don't care about speed or turning radius. But need to reverse often. Cruise control is a must. My muscles are weak, from bad health.
I know some people say go to a dealer, but I don't mind going to Lowes as it is closer. I like the steel bumper on the front and don't want cheap plastic guard some mowers use instead, and want the cast iron axle in front with decent suspension nd steering. I don't need or want a grass bagger.
I am holding off to see if they will put these mowers on sale for memorial day. plus they offer a discount for Veterans.
any other items or helpful things to add? Thanx ! I really appreciate the feedback. :cool
