I've got a Honda GCV 190 on my pressure washer which I presume uses pretty much the same engine as found on lawn mowers, so I'm hoping maybe someone can provide some insight. The engine totally runs fine once started, and it generally starts as it should.
The problem is that when starting, the recoil mechanism can sometimes be very violent in recoiling, ripping the pull-cord right out of my hand. Is this just the way it is, or is there something which can be repaired/replaced?
