Been holding out on all of you, EVEN Austen!!!

Well guys a new addition to the fleet, did not even tell pops yet I plan on keeping it! ;)
A customer been bugging me to come and look at a tractor he has in shop. Finally went to see it yesterday. A cherry Wheelhorse C-85!!


I love the looks and the paint looks sweet for a 1980-83!! Looks all original and I called him this morning to ask price he wanted. He was not saying so sheepishly offered $100. He thought it worth at least $200, split it at $150! I feel it is fair for condition. He says it runs and works, compression is high when I tried to spin it by hand. Battery dead so no noise. Talked him into leaving it outside so we can get it tomorrow. His pump pulling rig was in way and today when I delivered it was out. Was able to push it for pictures. Looks like deck needs to be off to load it into truck. Might drive it on as it is HEAVY!! :) It has a Kohler 8HP, so might kill myself with over powered machine! :sidelaugh Bet it is as torquey as the Suburban!!
Might have axle leak. REAR DISCHARGE DECK!?!
