Reading the various posts on where you should get your lawn mower seems to slightly favor the dealer. I am one who does like to support the local dealers.
With that being said, it will cost me about 20% more to purchase a new Honda push mower through a dealer, plus a 30 mile round trip to the dealer. Online purchase will be delivered to my door. Now the dealer does offer lifetime technical support, but how much support will a push mower need? The dealership will most likely have it set up and ready to go. Again, not too much time needed in the setup. The repair warranty is good at any authorized Honda repair facility, so not too much of an issue here. True, the repair facility might put a non dealer purchased mower at the end of the line. However, I certainly believe a good Honda repair facility will/should still do timely work.
Perhaps, I am looking at this all wrong. Please weigh in on your thoughts or past experiences on this topic.
