Hi gang,
Just moved into a new house with about 1.5 acres of lawn to cut, so its time for a new mower. I did landscaping about 15 years ago with a Walker mower, and that thing was phenomenal. I understand that's a commercial mower, and I'm looking for something cheaper here, but I do love the zero turn mowers with the levers for turning.
The lawn is mostly flat with only a few trees, and no other obstacles or small gaps to fit through.
Besides being under $3000 and having the option to add a bag, I don't have a lot of requirements.
I'm open to buying from anywhere, but my preference would be Home Depot or Lowes.
If it helps, here are my searches from those stores with my criteria checked:
Home Depot mowers that meet my criteria
Lowes mowers that meet my criteria
Any one have experience with any of those models, or out of all those brands (Club Cadet, Toro, Poulon, John Deere, Husqvarna, Troy-Bilt, Hustler), are some better than others?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
EDIT: Actually, if I could add one more thing, it would be a key start. I am so done with pull cords :)
