I became a member to acquire knowledge on my current walk behind mower. It is a John Deere JS 45 machine. It has the Momentum drive system. I was a little surprised to see that General transmission is a sponsor, which is the manufacturer of the transmission on the John Deere JS45 mower.
Anyway, I was having some trouble last season with the drive system. I open the trans. yesterday to take a look. Everything look okay. The jamming of the drive wheels had cleared. :ThumbUp:
There is a thick fluid like lubricate in the trans. case. Some of it had drained out when opened. I would like to add some more lubricate to it.
Can some one tell me what that lubricate is? How much lubricate should be in there?
