Well as I go along working on a machine I like to build up a data-sheet with info pertinent to the chassis, motor, transmission, etc. When I return the machine to someone I'll give them a copy as a useful added service.
Now I'm working on something of my own, and I've come across a puzzling question. What series is my mower???
First off my model no. is 13AU614H755 1658002 with the second set of numbers below the first (both separate from ser. no.)
According to this MTD page Product Model Series my tag reading 614 indicates [Series 600 / Style 14].
However according to page 4-45 of the MTD "Manual of Outdoor Power Equipment (book 3 - Garden Tractors)" my frame would be an 800 series. Here's a picture of the page to which I'm referring.

Incidentally according to my Serial number, mine is from February of 2004.
This has me stumped fellas. Any help would be appreciated.
