Hey guys, i have a problem with a B&S Quantum series Engine, to be more exact with the carburettor. The mower doesnt have a petcock, and for a while if i leave fuel in the tank, the next day die floor is covert in petrol.
The engine number is 128802-1918-B1, with autochoke system. First i thougt it wolud be a leaky float needle and bought the B&S replacement kit 398188 for valve an needle. But again, it spills over after like 20 minutes.
I made a "dry test" with compressed air, and even when the valve is completly closed you can hear the air hiss.
I took a photo from the carburettor in build in condition and marked you guys the hole where the fuel comes out. If other pictures needed, just tell me.
Best regards & sorry for my english,
Simon
