I know on M.C. and Cars there is a Cold Crank Rating which Can make the specific model battery you get a bit more pricey , and I understand It also comes with a better warranty and longer life.
However I am lost in Lawn tractors and other machinery that have battery generated starters. I see them for sale at automotive parts stores, Sears obviously, Dealerships and Gas stations etc. my brochure has no specs or suggestions on what kind of battery I should get for my unit. SO lets hear what you base your decision on? I saw they range from 24 bucks to 70 and up I guess?
