ariens gt 17, where do i add oil to the rear end

Ok, I just rebuilt the sunstrand pump on my Ariens GT17.

I need to refill it with 5w30 per the service manual specs.

I put a half a quart in the implement valve(?) think thats what they called it.

But I don't see where I can check or put more oil in the rear end. I assume these units share oil? Since that return line goes back into the rear end.
