New member intro - Toro 212 5

Hello,

Purchased the neighbors Toro 212 5 with the Onan engine for cheap hoping to find a inexpensive option for a riding mower.

Unit sat the last 3-4 years. Plan on replacing the battery, plug, fuel line, clean the carb, fresh gas and see if I can get it to run.

Have been told there are no current spark plugs that will work in this application. Can anyone confirm?

Last, is this thing worth spending some time and money (hopefully very little) on?
