I purchased a new Toro Z-Master 2000 60" deck (23.5 Kawasaki Commercial) about 2 months ago and I just don't get why I have to clean underneath the deck every single time. Even when it is dry it still clogs eventually but if it is the least bit damp outside forget it. I now have 29hrs on it and it has done it since day one. I can mow damp grass within 24hrs (virtually no growth time) and it still is a clumpy mess. My el cheapo Cub Cadet ZTR never did this. Anyone have any ideas other than coating the bottom of the deck with film? It is for residential use only and I have finally giving up to just pressure washing under the deck (which I can't stand but neither do I like cleaning a mower every 30 minutes to mow my yard!!!)
