throttle cable linkage

I have a 2007 troybilt pony riding lawnmower with a 17.5 hp ohv motor,does anyone know where I can get a diagram of the linkage for the carburetor. the problem I am having is when you is the throttle cable it doesn't move anything on the carburetor, I am not sure if its missing a spring or something but not sure where.
