Hey everyone. Looking to see if anyone has any suggestions. I have a Dixon 4516k, and it has the sealed hydrostatic transmissions. Has anyone ever done anything to the hydraulic fluid before? I know that you arent supposed to touch them, but its now 13 years old, and just seems wrong to continue to use the same fluid. You can pull off the breather to see inside, and the fluid looks pretty dark (though I dont know what it looked like new either, so maybe thats nothing). After seeing a new transmission for a single side is $900, I want to do anything I can to make sure they last a long time. Thanks!
