MY FIRST CUB CADET!! I know it is a MTD made one. Dad sold the Murray today and this was trade in. The starter was not correct one, gear was too big to go past flywheel!! LOL Dad swapped it out and I got home in time to help some. We got it running and it drives and deck works. The seat was off it and we just threw it on temporary to move it. The carb is stuck, floods when at low speeds. Engine seems good with little black smoke now. Hour meter shows 181 ! Hood and sides were off when I got home!
Guy text me that the Murray broke before he could unload it?? Sounds like starter might be tight and cables froze, he couldn't move them! ARGH! It was fine here of course! Like a sick kid, take it to Dr and they are fine! :(
Guy is quite far away too. Hopefully it straightens out, his "Mechanic" looked at it already! This "fixer" made a mess out of this Cub, fuse was piece of wire?? God willing this guy don't chop poor Murray all up!
