Ill be purchasing a lawn tractor this spring. Im about 70% sure Im going with the Husqvarna model # YT42LS. The other 30% of me isn't sure and may consider the John Deere model D130. I know very little about the Huskys and would like to solicit some input from the forum members on the following:
Overall quality & reliability;
Engine choice 18hp Kawasaki or 24hp Koehler?
Frame construction / gauge thickness / welded?
Husky offers a 3 yr. warranty and JD offers only 2 years. For the money there seems to be more standard equipment on the Husky compared to the JD D130.
Ive always heard the JDs are very reliable, Im curious as to how the Huskys compare to the JD. Comments / recommendations requested. Thanks. :2th:
