Just brought home my brand new R220t I was excited to get it off the truck and play with it in the yard for a few minutes. It ran fine at the dealer we drove it up on the truck. When I got it home I had to lift the deck to service position to get it off the truck due to the angle at the bottom of the short ramps I had available. No problem rolled it off the truck put the deck back down attached the belt the lift rod, and the tensioner spring, locked the trans-axle back from push mode to drive mode, set the parking brake, ensured the blades are disengaged, but the mower will not start not a click nothing, checked the battery and main fuse all ok. The switch seems to only have two positions? I thought there would be stop run and start. So I tried turning the switch and shorting the solenoid no luck there motor spins but no spark. So there seems to be a safety switch issue somewhere. When I press the brake a hear a click about half way down sounds like the switch for that is working. Also the blade switch appears to work as well. Any other ideas? Obviously this fix will be within warranty but if it was something simple I would like to save the trip to the dealer.
