Got this Speedway at Portland fall swap meet. Saw it three rows over and*practically ran over to see it. Looked it over and it was all complete turned over, didn't run. Talked to the guy who had it. It was his grandpas and he passed away and he hadn't used it for a long time. They just wanted to pass it on to someone who would enjoy it. So we ended up buying it after alittle bargaining for $120 and it had the original sulkey. The sulkey is missing the original seat spring, but it had the original tires and original speedway hub caps.* So we drug it across the swap grounds with a garden tractor to our spot. Then we worked on it. Filled the points and cleaned the carb. And had it running about 20 minutes later and mowed with it. Needles to say everyone around us was watching. A couple people even offered to buy it. So* I got really lucky on this deal. Keep in mind this was only like my 4th or 5th mower. Since then my collection has grown greatly.
The little yellow one is a Hahn eclipse I picked up at Portland too. Didn't realize it was an eclipse brand till I got it home. It's newer but it's still special.
The last one is a Eclipse Rocket, once again caught my eye and I had to have it. Has a little pull start lever which I really love.
