I bought a non running snapper hi vac almost 2 months ago and I'm finally going to get around to fixing it this week. It is pretty hard to pull over, and the previous owner did say it was getting harder and harder to start the last few years he used it, so I'm guessing the main problem with it is loose valve adjustment. Anyways, all I've had to go by so far are the few videos I've seen on Youtube. Do I want to spot the engine up at TDC on the compression stroke, and then go 1/4" past that (ATDC) measuring in through the spark plug hole? Do both valves at the same time? or one then the other? If the last one, how do I spot the engine up for each one? And the specs I got from one of the videos was Intake - .005"-.007" and Exhaust - .007"-.009". Are these specs right?
